My competition entry for :iconlarissa-bright: 's competition.

It's Hugh (because he's fabulous :D ) teasing Rosalind about something...I don't know what... you'll have to read his diary to find out =P I was thinking about drawing a halo over his head but in the end left it out

SQUEEEEEE! :heart: This is beautiful, especially as I had no idea it was coming (I love surprises!). They suit your style so well! I love how you differentiated between their facial shapes and features; I think I've mentioned it before, but you have a talent for making faces look individual. I think I might have split my sides laughing if you had drawn a halo over Hugh's head :rofl: He's got this kind of smug, devious yet angelic look about him - I can absolutely understand why you were tempted by the halo! :rofl: And Rosalind's expression is so cute but also a perfect "shut up" one. I bet she's considering whether she's going to thwap Hugh over the head or not, or perhaps composing some "shut up" kind of reply. What I like best, though, is that it's a really lovely in-character piece for them - their relationship is totally like this. It makes me happy looking at it! :D

Thanks :) I'm glad you like it. I was really trying to capture their personalities. I think I identify with Rosalind a lot because I was a tom boy myself at that age.

Oh my gosh, this is so beautiful! I wish I could color like that, with all the shading and the highlights. I love the expressions too!
